Dig deeper into every rally.
VolleyMine turns the match video you already shoot on a phone into rally-by-rally stats, highlight reels and a private live stream for your team. Built by a volleyball parent, for teams that don't have a full-time stats crew.
From the bleachers to the box score
No scouting software to learn and no stats crew to hire. Just the video, a few minutes of help from the team's families, and VolleyMine.
Film the match
Any phone on a tripod. Upload the video from the phone or computer, or stream it live and tap the score as you go.
VolleyMine finds every rally
It reads the scoreboard and the whistles to cut the match into rallies, sets and scores, then drafts who touched the ball.
Families check it
Each set splits into five-minute blocks. Claim one, check the rallies on your phone, tap "Looks right". Many hands, done fast.
Stats, reels, recaps
Player and team stats, rotations, season trends, highlight reels for social, and a recap card after every match.
Everything a team wants to know
Rally-by-rally stats
Kills, hitting %, aces and serve %, pass ratings, digs, blocks, assists, plus side-out and point-scoring by rotation.
Season tracking
Every match adds up: season totals, trends over the last few matches, and a serving report that shows who's improving.
Highlight reels
Pick plays by player, skill and result (kills, aces, perfect passes) and get a vertical reel for social or a landscape cut, with captions.
Five-minute phone review
A tap-friendly review built for the bleachers: fix who touched it, what it was and how it went. Wrong stat? Suggest a fix.
Private live streams
Stream from a phone straight into VolleyMine with the live score on screen. Grandparents watch from anywhere, team-only.
Schedule & match day
Load the season once. On game day the match is front and center with the stream, the scorekeeper and the score.
My Mine
Save your player's best moments to your own collection as you watch, and follow the players you're cheering for.
Recap cards
A ready-to-share match summary: final scores, key numbers and standouts, with a separate public version that respects privacy.

Many hands, five minutes each
The AI gets a match most of the way. People make it right. VolleyMine splits each set into small blocks that parents and players claim from their phones, so a whole match gets checked between practices.
- AI drafts every touch; player stats count only what a person has confirmed
- Big buttons, one thumb, works on any phone browser
- Parents can suggest corrections; reviewers approve them
- AI accuracy is tracked match by match, so you know how much to trust the draft
The match, live, for the people who couldn't make it
Point a phone at the court and VolleyMine does the rest: a private stream for your team with a broadcast-style score bug, who's serving, scoring runs, and your team's colors.
- Team-only: viewers sign in with your team's code
- A scorekeeper on any phone taps the points, with optional aces, serve errors and subs
- "Starting soon" and "between sets" pictures with your team's look
- Each set is recorded and becomes the match video afterwards, with the score already lined up
| Server | Serves | Aces | SE | Serve % |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| #7 | 64 | 9 | 4 | 94% |
| #12 | 58 | 5 | 7 | 88% |
| #3 | 51 | 3 | 9 | 82% |
| Team | 301 | 26 | 31 | 90% |
Each person gets the right tools
Families
Watch every match and its stats, save favorite plays, make reels, and help review a few rallies.
Coaches
Rotations, side-out %, serve-receive and hitting by player, with the video one tap away from every number.
Videographers & scorekeepers
Stream from a phone, keep score from another, upload recordings. Nothing else to learn.
Match managers
Add matches and the season schedule, run the AI, and keep everything moving without the owner.
Built around kids' privacy
Most players are minors, so VolleyMine is private by default and parents stay in control.
- Everything is team-only: nothing is public unless the team shares it
- Parents decide whether their athlete may appear in anything shared outside the team
- Players who haven't been cleared are left out of public versions automatically
- No messaging between players, no ads, and no selling anyone's data
Who sees what
👥 Team members see the team's matches, stats, reels and streams.
🏠 Parents also control their athlete's public-sharing choice, which only they and the team owner can see.
🌐 Everyone else sees only what the team chooses to post, and only players cleared for it.
Sponsor a team's live streams
Put your business in front of every family watching: your "presented by" graphic on the starting-soon and between-sets screens and briefly during play. Sponsorships help keep VolleyMine free for teams.
Ask about sponsoringFAQ
What does it cost?
VolleyMine is free for teams during the beta. Live-stream sponsorships from local businesses help cover the costs.
What do we need to get started?
A phone (and ideally a tripod) to film from the stands. That's it. Upload the video from any phone or computer, or stream it live.
Do we need a scoreboard in the video?
It helps: VolleyMine reads the gym scoreboard to find each rally. If you stream live, the scorekeeper's taps do that job instead, so no scoreboard is needed.
Is the AI always right?
No, and VolleyMine doesn't pretend it is. The AI drafts every touch; families and coaches confirm or fix them, and player stats count only confirmed rallies. VolleyMine also tracks how accurate the AI's draft was.
Who can see our videos and stats?
Only people on your team, who join with your team's code. The owner decides who can review, make reels or run the stream. Parents decide about public sharing for their athlete.
Is there an app to download?
No. VolleyMine runs in the phone or computer browser. For live streaming, the filming phone uses the Larix Broadcaster app (free to try; full-length streams need its paid upgrade), and VolleyMine sets it up in one tap.
Which teams is it for?
High school and club teams of any level. VolleyMine started with a high school JV team in Texas and is opening to more teams during the beta.
